  • thinks the next time I accidentally eat gluten I might as well eat a pizza. I really didn’t think I’d have a reaction like today’s. G’Night! #

  • thinks dual monitors are neato. Maybe I’ll be more productive when I’m on the computer? As long as the social stuff is on the farthest away! #
  • went to Taste of Thai again for date night. Then we went to Wal-Mart. I know..so romantic. I’m on facebook. He’s snoring. Ah..Marital Bliss. #
  • feels pretty excited about how I think God may have answered my prayers today. Looking forward to what whispers I’ll hear tomorrow. #

Youngerese of the Day

On Wednesday, while I was working, The AP and The Younger were playing with, but of course, his newest fire engine.

The AP: What do you want to be when you grow up?
The Younger: (puzzled trying to search his database for the definition of 'grow up') I don't know.
The AP: (trying to think of an alternative) What do you want to be when you are the same size as mommy and daddy?
The Younger: I'm going to be….a firefighter!
The AP: Nice!

The next day (yesterday), The Younger was playing with his fire engine again but with just me.

The Younger: Mommy, when I grow up, I'm going to be a firefighter!
Me: Wow! You'd be a great firefighter!
The Younger: (pointing to his fire engine) And, Mommy, when this grows up, I'm going to be a firefighter!

I was not aware of the first conversation until late last night. When The AP told me that it made it even cuter.

Happy 300 posts to me!

I was going into my dashboard to post a Youngerese and lo and behold, I saw "You have 300 posts."

Wow…Im in shock because I've only been blogging for about 18 months, and the last 6 months or so I have done much other my "cheat posts" that are auto-posted from Twitter.

So yay for me, and yay for you. I appreciate all my readers (even those who don't leave comments…yeah, you know who you are! ;-) )
