Find Out How to Participate in Success Sunday

Create a Success Sunday Post every Sunday!
Your Blog, Your Facebook Notes, Your MySpace Blog, Your Choice!
  1. Choose a quote…any quote. I quoted The Elder once because he said something inspiring. Keep in mind that the purpose of this meme is to inspire and motivate ourselves and others.
  2. *Click in the box and Ctrl+A to select all, then Ctrl+C to copy the text.

  3. Copy* and paste the entire html code below into the “Edit Html” tab of your post. Or you can download the text file here.
  4. And then you can edit the code with your fave motivational quote of the week and author OR, if code makes your eyes bleed, then after pasting, simply view it in Visual/Compose mode of your post and edit it there. There’s an optional place for additional thoughts regarding your quote or just the rest of your post for that day.
  5. Come back to my blog’s Home Page to sign the Mr. Linky widget at the bottom of my current week’s post. Enter your name and URL. Use your Permalink or Trackback URI for your URL to direct people to your current post to read your quote.

Find Out What a Mister Linky Widget Is (optional)

  1. This widget tracks the participants of this Meme (and others you might participate in)
  2. By coming back here to sign the widget, your post will show up in all the widgets associated with this post, even on other people’s blog! Cool huh?
  3. You can have your own pop-up widget on your post which will dynamically update each time someone signs the widget. So you will have a current list for that week’s post! If you are technically inclined you can edit the html to direct your widget to the current post. You will need to know the PostID which can be found in my Permalink or Trackback URI just above the comments section of the post you are referencing.
  4. Because Success Sunday is a Private but Shared Meme, anyone can subscribe to it by following the Subscribe Link on the widget. It is free to register and makes it a whole lot easier to simply cut and paste than it is to figure out the PostID and try to edit it appropriately. Use the HTML “Image-Linkies” so you don’t have to mess with javascript if you that word makes you a little queasy.
  5. If you choose to have a widget on your own post, whether via the above html or from your Mister Linky subscription to this meme, be sure that you update it each week with my current post so that your linky is current!

For example, my subject line for the current post will look like this:*DO NOT copy and paste the code in this section. It does not play nicely when you paste it. Use the code in the box above instead

Success Sunday (PostID 1234)

Here the Post Number = 1234. So your code will look like this*:
